Spiritual Awareness

Who am I?
Why am I here?

Spiritual awareness is the process by which we begin to explore our own being in order to become whole and reunite our spirit with our physical bodies in a commonality of purpose. A transpersonal or spiritual approach requires a willingness to explore the possibility that within each one of us is an inner wisdom and intuition that can guide us through our life experiences and as we connect with this higher awareness, we transform. As we transform, we create the life we envisage for ourselves.

Spirit is always within us, if we allow it to simply be, and it is yearning to be allowed to become a whole part of each of us. It is not necessary to struggle physically nor spiritually. It is your struggle that leaves you confused and alone. Your purpose, that which you seek, is there for you now and there are many paths to help you become whole. Listen to your heart and the love you have for self and others and know your truth. Put aside the seduction of mind and the glamour of this or that option and truly listen to you, yourself. You will know the essence of truth when you allow your spirit to be.

The poet Pablo Neruda once said, “We must pass through solitude and difficulty, isolation and silence to find that enchanted place where we can dance our clumsy dance and sing our sorrowful song. But in that dance, and in that song, the most ancient rites of our conscience fulfill themselves in the awareness of being human.” A spiritual approach to hypnotherapy allows us to find that dance, to sing that song.
